We were recently very lucky to have had the opportunity to fly over Sweetwater Lodge in Andrew’s helicopter at the end of their filming expedition of Remote Resorts of Northern Australia. It was so good to see the layout from above, the stunning rainforest clad mountains which form a significant part of the property and see Hunter’s Creek meander its way through with thick rainforest and eucalypt vegetation either side. Hunter’s Creek being home to our native platypuses who seem increasingly happy to put on a show for us offering many of our keen photographer guests fabulous photographic opportunities especially towards the end of the day when the sun goes down and the light softens on the Platypus Pond, our private swimming hole. We love sharing our beautiful natural paradise with our guests often choosing to base themselves at our luxury Tablelands accommodation while exploring the wider area.
