First rain of the wet season
The long awaited first rain of the wet season has seen the arrival of many of our beautiful frog species including the White-lipped Green Tree Frog. It’s so lovely to hear the creek raging again in the still of the night, smell the clear mountain air, listen to the birds as they relish the new season’s bounties, and watch as the plants come alive with new growth and flowers, such is Nature’s tropical paradise in Far North Queensland.
