Your friendly hosts are Glenn and Wendy Cambage who in Sweetwater Lodge are realizing their dream of some 15 years. Having met in Australia when Wendy was visiting from the UK in 1991, they’ve since travelled together through parts of Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia.
They first worked together in the tourism industry managing an island resort in the Whitsundays in 2000 and made the move to Far North Queensland from New South Wales in 2002.
Glenn continued to pursue a career in tourism gaining local and regional knowledge as a tour guide. Wendy has a very keen interest in food and nutrition and they both have a passion for art, recycled timber furniture, nature and travelling.
Having found the perfect property in Julatten in 2003 they have gradually been putting in the infrastructure for Sweetwater Lodge over the last five years.
